Hi, I'm Lukas Diengdoh. IT Systems Engineer at dataforest & CEO of IT Diengdoh, and the kind of person who runs a homelab just to see what breaks. This blog is where I write the fixes down.

Based in Ergolding, Bavaria.

// what's here

No thought-leadership. No "10 tips for productivity." Just concrete, tested, copy-pasteable guides on the things I actually run.

Windows Server — Active Directory rabbit holes, RDS/RDP quirks, Hyper-V, IIS, PowerShell scripts that save me hours.

Linux — Ubuntu & Debian server work. Systemd, networking, firewalls, service hardening, "why is my disk full again" forensics.

Gameserver hosting — Minecraft, Palworld, Valheim, Hytale. Configs, mod stacks, backups, performance tuning.

Hytale — dev notes, tooling, community side-projects. Yes, I'm still hopeful.

AI — how I actually use AI tools day to day. Prompts that work, tools worth the hype, and the Superpowers plugin for Claude Code that changed how I approach building things.

// the stack

This site runs Ghost in a Docker container, on a self-managed Linux server. Theme is a custom build called techgaming — dark, neon, loud. If something breaks you're seeing it live.

Most of the automation and tooling on this blog was built with Claude Code. Including the AI section — which is a bit meta, but here we are.
